Life Modelling in Barcelona

Barcelona was the first leg of my tour, preceding Paris and London. I decided to go to each place for one week, a month apart, so Barcelona in May, Paris in June and London in July.
When I initially decided to go, I started by doing a huge bout of research. I started by googling “Life Drawing in Barcelona” going on to searching event sites like Eventbrite and then on to social media, logging all the information into a spreadsheet. I also asked fellow Life Models and artists that I have worked with – who have an international reach – for recommendations. Once I had collected roughly 40 contacts, I created my tour newsletter/email. I first did it in English and then translated it to Spanish and another in French. I sent the Spanish one to all the contacts, and genuinely thought I could sit back and the bookings would come rolling in, that did not happen. 🙂
Life Modelling in London

Unbeknownst to me, London would actually be the end of my tour for 2025. and what a wonderful week it was. I had two sessions booked and had arranged for my other days, spent changing trains to visit family. I arrived in London on Monday and had a session booked for Tuesday evening with Life Drawing London, and Thursday evening with Draw Social. I was staying at my aunts for the week in Notting Hill, right off the picturesque Portobello Road.
I spent my first day settling in to my weeks abode. As Tuesday rolled around I had arranged to meet up with my cousin before the session to have dinner at Covent Gardens Mildred’s vegan restaurant. After a huge 3 course dinner and some deep conversations, I walked around the corner to my first session of the week at Life Drawing London.
